Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Paediatric Enrolled Nurse to join our pool for on-call and last-minute relief shifts. This role is ideal for someone who is responsive, adaptable, and able to step in on short notice to support our team when urgent cover is needed. You will be working closely with individuals, families, and other members of the care team to provide practical assistance, administer medications, and promote overall health and wellbeing.
This position involves providing personal care, domestic assistance, and lifestyle support to clients in their homes. You will also be required to assist with appointments, outings, shopping, and social activities, as well as monitoring general health and wellbeing and communicating any changes to the care team.
You will have the opportunity to work actively at night and enjoy PM shifts, including Monday to Friday, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. A reliable vehicle is required, and you may be asked to transport clients during your shift.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse - TAFE)
* Current AHPRA registration
* Working with Children Check
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Manual Handling and CPR Certificate
* Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance
* Previous experience in disability and Paediatric settings
* Strong understanding of safe manual handling and client mobility supports
