Job Description
The role of a Civil Surveyor is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and precision of construction projects. As a Civil Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting site surveys using advanced equipment such as Trimble or Leica survey equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out site surveys to ensure accurate data collection and storage.
* Preparing and maintaining detailed survey plans in software like AutoCAD & 12D to facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders.
* Verifying design data to guarantee buildability on-site and collaborating with engineers and project managers to resolve any challenges that may arise during construction.
* Managing survey data, maintaining quality assurance records, and monitoring site progress to ensure works remain within tolerance.
* Assisting with as-built surveys and final project documentation.
* Training and supporting junior team members where required and maintaining equipment, ensuring calibration is up to date.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
* 5-10 years of experience in civil surveying, preferably with expertise in AutoCAD & 12D drafting software.
* Proficiency in Trimble or Leica survey equipment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
