**PURPOSE STATEMENT**
The Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining great customer relationships and making sales in a way that makes our customers happy and the business thrive. Real Friends is a reputable company with a strong brand presence in the Northern NSW area. **TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**
**General Responsibilities**
- Grow sales and distribution within an already established customer base across Cafe, restaurant, hotel and independent retail
- Identify and negotiate sales opportunities throughout the territory
- Establish and create new business opportunities through cold-calling
- Adhere to individual KPI's and set sales targets with your Manager
- Work to manage your monthly call plan and growing accounts
- Assist with key account and distributor management
- Assist in the launch of new products to market
- Merchandise and activate promotional plans with customer
- Set up new customer accounts in conjunction with Real Friends colleagues as needed
- Share Real Friends terms & conditions with new customers, sharing how Real Friends operates and likes to build relationships with your valued customers
- Share product information, samples and pricing with customers
- Close sales and ask for the orders in a helpful and professional way
- Complete / update the CRM system with accurate and timely customer information
- Communicate special customer requests or needs to other Real Friends team members to make sure dealing with Real Friends is a great experience
- Take care of company equipment and assets
- Display a positive mental attitude and enthusiasm for your job
- Provide appropriate and necessary reporting and record keeping to assist others to do their jobs well
- Have an open approach to giving and receiving helpful feedback
- Keep an eye out for and suggest ways to make improvements within the business
- Act as a leader within the business by helping to mentor and develop others when comfortable in your job
- Undertake other tasks as assigned by management when required

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience (**Required)
- Previous experience in a sales role
- A passion for great customer service which includes the ability to build great customer relationships both in person and over the phone
- Happy to ask for the order and close sales
- Great ability to organise yourself to work independently and efficiently
- An eye for detail
- A highly developed ability to work well both as a team member and on your own
- A clean drivers licence
- A commitment to followup and follow through to resolve issues and complete processes
