The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Facilitator (Endoscopy) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
* Deliver and evaluate clinical education programs
* Incorporate evidence-based practice in nursing and clinical teaching.
* Monitor the achievement of clinical objectives of nursing staff
* Provide day to day clinical education support in the ward/unit
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
* Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
* Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
* Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
* Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
* Permanent part time
* Base salary ranging from $54.45 - $58.30 per hour
About Us
The Endoscopy Unit at GCUH offers a range of therapeutic, interventional and emergency procedures including Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), Endoscopic Submucosal dissection (ESD) and respiratory procedures. The Clinical Facilitator offers educational support to 48 FTE (Approx. 60 staff), Newly Qualified Nurses and Nursing Students.
