**About the Role** 
Looking for some flexibility or a change of pace? Three days a week - you get to decide when you work!
If you have **personal experience** living with mental illness / participating in recovery programs, we'd love for you to come and support our Mental Health team with delivery of client services.
Our Community Mental Health team provides support to people in community & their homes, so they can live a meaningful and enjoyable life.
**What you'll be doing**
An important role to ensure that our mental health services focus on recovery, evidence and the appropriate level of consumer direction.
This role will give you the chance to act as a positive role model for clients. You'll get to use your personal experience and recovery journey to share information, skills and strategies for positive health / wellbeing.
**We'll also be asking you to**:
- Conduct regular face to face & phone contact with clients. 
- Participate in leadership groups, project development & training of staff in recovery. 
- Support service delivery team to develop knowledge and skills - recovery / person-centred /outcomes focused. 
- Provide lived experience expertise to inform our practices & policies. 
- Support to ensure client-led plans are person centred and encourage their active participation.
**About You** **and Why You Should Apply**

Having received mental health care yourself, you truly understand some of the challenges that our clients can face in acute or community settings.
**To be considered for this role, you'll need**:
- Lived experience of your own mental illness & understanding of recovery processes. 
- Experience in a similar role (providing client perspective to mental health services). 
- Certificate III level or higher qualifications in mental health. 
- Great interpersonal & communication skills. 
- Creative thinking so we can explore alternative ways to provide services. 
- Computer proficiency. 
- A current & unrestricted WA driver licence.
