Job Title: Cloud Service Manager
The Cloud Services Leader is a leadership role within the Systems and Platform team, responsible for supporting and deploying Azure based IT systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in overseeing the development and implementation of software applications, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and implement complex software systems using expertise in software application design.
* Apply strategic and technical expertise to enhance and improve existing software, including designing, developing, implementing and testing software systems.
* Investigate and resolve complex issues with the operation of an application, ensuring deadlines are consistently met and customer satisfaction is maintained.
* Be responsible for project progress reporting and ensure compliance with governance processes, maintaining accurate records and providing timely updates to stakeholders.
* Manage and motivate a team to deliver high-quality outputs, building team capability and encouraging career development through coaching and mentorship.
Technical Skills:
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing enterprise IT solutions consuming Azure services, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Serverless Compute, Azure Functions, Web Apps, Storage, Integration, Identity, and API Management.
* Experience in Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using ARM and/or Bicep templates, ensuring seamless deployment and delivery of software applications.
* Proven ability to manage and migrate solution infrastructure to the Azure platform, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
* Strong understanding of risk management principles and processes in the context of infrastructure management, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively whilst anticipating stakeholder needs and expectations across a geographically dispersed network.
