We are recruiting for a highly motivated professional to join our team as a Training & Compliance Manager located at Brisbane, QLD.
This role coordinates with our SEQ's Driver Trainers/ Assessors to maintain a high standard of training and assessing, and that all our drivers are deemed competent annually. You will be instrumental in effectively organising the onboarding and training of new drivers in a variety of different truck types across geographically dispersed SEQ locations.

In your new role, you will:
* Ensuring all new drivers complete all necessary components of the national driver training program in a timely manner
* Effectively assessing an individual's training needs at the on-boarding stage and developing suitable training plans to ensure appropriate training is provided to each new driver (inline with our 10 Day Driver Training Plan)
* Managing the training process of all new drivers in the fleet through cost effective utilisation of driver trainer resources
* Managing and encourage the upskilling training process of drivers in the fleet to other vehicles
* Manage overdue e-learning training
* Ensure all training documentation is up to date and relevant
* Contributing to continuously improving driver performance
* Ensuring the safety of the driver fleet through effective safety/Risk training
* Champion a consistent and fair approach to investigating and action required to any breach of fatigue regulations
* Monitor all aspects of NHVR legislation and ensure we are compliant
* Ensure all Lorry Owner Drivers (LOD's) and Relief Drivers are CAMS compliant
* Manage LOD's Relief Driver and Absence requests
* Participate and ensure Managers are completing truck audits
* Producing various management information reports as required in a timely manner
* Actively participating in the rollout of ad hoc training programs as assigned by the Supply Chain Concrete Manager, GM Logistics or Risk departments.
