Team Leader Position
This role involves overseeing the Water Infrastructure team in Queensland.
The successful candidate will report to the Business Leader – Queensland and provide leadership that aligns with the company vision, strategy, initiatives, and culture.
Main Responsibilities
* Maintain correct staffing levels and shape based on current and future workloads for their teams.
* Pursue business development opportunities and contribute to client service through establishing strong relationships.
* Foster authentic leadership, open communication, and a collaborative culture to enhance team cohesion, performance, and continuous improvement.
* Coordinate resource and technical development requirements with Practice Leaders, technical Discipline Leaders and other Team Leaders.
As a Team Leader, the key responsibilities include:
* Managing talent management lifecycle including recruitment suggestions, career development, employee engagement, succession planning, coaching and mentoring.
* Reviewing and monitoring staff to ensure performance objectives are met, staff are engaged, and performance issues are managed promptly.
* Collaborating with partner Group Leaders / Team Leaders in other regions to drive collaboration and work sharing across the organization.
* Ensuring quality and timely delivery of project deliverables to meet, and preferably, exceed client expectations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess relevant tertiary qualification, RPEQ status or ability to obtain within 3 months, minimum 10 years' related work experience, leadership, financial management and consulting experience, and ability to commit to working in the office for at least 3 days/week.
