We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join their team in Melbourne. As an integral part of the investment team, the Investment Analyst will play a vital role in identifying and analysing investment opportunities in the Australian equities market. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough research, financial modelling, due diligence, reporting, and market monitoring. Sectors of interest would be those cyclicals such as consumer, industrials as well as TMT. Those profiles of interest are candidates who possess 2-5 years of experience in a similar role investments role. You will bring previous buy side experience from Australian equities, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (with advanced degrees like CFA or MBA being advantageous). You will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques, and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with tools such as Python, SQL, R, Microsoft Power Query, or Microsoft Power BI is viewed favourably. Successful candidates will also demonstrate working knowledge of Australian equities, a genuine passion for investments coupled with a curious mindset.
