About the Opportunity
The Women in Logistics (WILpower) Cadetship Program is a comprehensive two-year development initiative designed to equip talented women with the skills and experience needed to thrive in the stevedoring and container logistics industry. Throughout the program, you will gain hands-on experience, learning the key functions Operations and Management functions of the industry.
In addition to practical industry exposure, you will have the opportunity to undertake further Maritime Logistics study, designed to enhance your career prospects. This study program focuses on building critical industry knowledge, strengthening your analytical and problem-solving skills, and providing technical expertise and best practices for leadership and strategic decision-making in logistics.
Upon successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent position within Operations or Management departments, where you will continue to uphold our core value of Everyone Home Safely Every Day.

About Your Experience and Skills
We are looking for women that are interested in pursuing a career in Container Terminal Operations within Patrick. The ideal candidate will have a high level of safety awareness, a strong customer focus, an exceptional capacity for leadership and drive for constant improvement.
To be considered for this opportunity you should have the following:
- Individuals with experience in operational roles or with a relevant qualification are encouraged to apply, although this is not a requirement.
- Experience in a challenging industry
- Passionate to lead by example
- Experience working towards deadlines and liaising with customers and stakeholders will be highly regarded
- Comfortable performing shift work – 24-hours/7-days per week
- Robust business acumen alongside the ability to adapt to constantly changing situations
- Additionally, to be considered for this role you will need to have full rights to work in Australia and the ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card.
