Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5 days per week
- Location: Lockyer Valley
- Hours: Up to 38 hours with flexibility
- Compensation: Up to $40 per hour + super + retention

Key Responsibilities
As our Educational Leader, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring our educational team with a strong focus on Quality Area 1 – Educational Program and Practice. This is a non‐contact role, allowing you to dedicate your energy to leadership, program enhancement and professional growth.
- Lead and inspire educators to deliver high‐quality programmes aligned with the EYLF and NQS
- Drive excellence in Quality Area 1 – Educational Program and Practice
- Coach and mentor educators on the floor, drawing on early childhood theories and current research to support best practice and introduce new perspectives
- Role‐model enthusiasm, passion, and effective teamwork, setting and guiding high expectations and professional standards
- Facilitate meaningful professional development and training opportunities
- Collaborate with the leadership team to foster a positive, growth‐focused culture
- Ensure continuous improvement through observation, feedback, and reflective practice
- Manage documentation and administrative leadership tasks with allocated planning time

We would love you to have
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education
- Previous experience as a room leader/educational leader
- Use coaching techniques to develop reflective practices
- Identify areas of improvement and support educators in planning
- High level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner
- Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- A current Qld Blue Card
- Passion for a healthy lifestyle and valuable nutrition for children
