About The Role
This organisation is seeking a highly capable and proactive APS6 Executive Assistant to provide central support to a high-performing CEO. This is a pivotal opportunity for a polished EA who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to make a genuine strategic impact across the executive function.

Requirements
* Ability to obtain Security clearance

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee a complex executive diary, ensuring seamless flow of meetings, priorities, and daily preparedness
* Act as primary liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, enabling strong communication and relationship management
* Prioritise, action and manage confidential and high‐priority communications, ensuring the CEO is always well briefed
* Lead coordination of critical projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines and milestones are achieved
* Maintain a strategic contacts database for quick, reliable stakeholder access
* Screen calls and manage visitors with sound judgement and discretion
* Assess and escalat enquiries appropriately, using deep understanding of organisational structure and priorities
* Prepare agendas, briefing papers, presentations and reports with exceptional accuracy and timeliness
* Provide secretariat support for executive team meetings, including minute taking
* Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, catering and venues to a high professional standard
* Develop comprehensive reports and insights to support CEO decision‐making
* Support executive operations by assisting reception and onboarding of new staff when required
Skills & Experience Needed
* Proven experience providing high‐level support to a senior executive
* Exceptional organisational and administrative capability, with ability to prioritise in a fast‐moving environment
* Advanced communication skills — written, verbal, and stakeholder engagement
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
* Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity
* Ability to exercise initiative, judgement, and agility in rapidly changing situations
* Advanced proficiency across Microsoft Office and online information management systems
Desirable
* Experience within government or a similar executive environment
* Membership of EA professional networks
