Our planning team is comprised of a number of professionals from a variety of industry back grounds, including but not limited to civil engineering, architectural & traffic management. Each brings unique historical experience to knowledge pool of the team, for those with civil experience & a solid working knowledge of AutoCad, this is an excellent opportunity to switch their career pathway into the traffic management space.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Manage the full life cycle of the TMP process from initial assessment & consultation through to final approvals, including but not limited to :
Efficiently develop detailed and accurate Traffic Guidance Schemes & Traffic Management Plans in accordance with relevant industry standards and legislation, as well as company policies and procedures.
ReviewTGSs and TMPs, and promptly communicate any feedback, issues or concerns to the relevant Supervisors or Departments, as required.
Communicate professionally with clients to obtain information or ask questions related to relevant works, including but not limited to the scope of works, required resources, dates for the works, client-specific requirements or project-specific requirements.
Maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders & create relationships with new clients and stakeholders.
Perform job analysis, hazard identification, risk analysis and provide assessments and recommendations that aim to minimise or eliminate risk.
Ensure all relevant Permits and Approvals are obtained and forwarded to all relevant internal and external parties in a timely manner.
Monitor permit expiry dates and apply for extensions, if required, in a timely manner.
Submit TMPs for LGA or MRWA approval, as required.
Cooperate and coordinate with related Departments, such as the Scheduling and Quotes Departments, where required to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner to ensure efficient business-wide operations.
Provide regular reports to management as required.
Provide feedback on existing Traffic Management Planning policies and procedures when requested or required, for the purposes ofcontinual improvement.
Liaise professionally with relevant road authorities, local councils, emergency services and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal or external auditors as required to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements as well as company policies and procedures.
Complete ad-hoc Traffic Management Planning duties as required.
Positively contribute to existing company workplace culture further enhancing it.
Key Skills & Qualities:
WTM or AWTM accreditation.
Current WA Driver's License.
Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, etc).
Working knowledge & recent experiencewithAutoCAD.
Direct experience in TM design or civil construction with exposure to TM.
Highly developed time management skills in a team & individual setting.
Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and individually.
