A key role within the Joint Command and Control (JC2) domain is available for a Material Data Officer. This position requires Australian citizens residing in Australia who hold an NV1 clearance to apply.
Job Description
The Material Data Officer will coordinate the Integrated Logistics System (ILS) requirements related to developing, reviewing, and validating project, SPO, and Contractor Materiel technical data documentation. The primary objective of this work is to ensure that all in-service technical support considerations of JC2 SPO supported equipment and logistics policies are addressed.
Responsibilities:
* Safety Data Sheets: Ensure the creation, review, and validation of safety data sheets for JC2 SPO supported equipment.
* Equipment Schedules: Develop, review, and validate complete equipment schedules for JC2 SPO supported equipment.
* User Handbooks/Manuals: Create, review, and validate user handbooks/manuals for JC2 SPO supported equipment.
* Codification and Cataloguing: Develop and maintain codification and cataloguing systems for JC2 SPO supported equipment.
* Sparing Analysis: Conduct sparing analysis to determine the optimal spare parts holdings for JC2 SPO supported equipment.
* RAM Reports: Generate reliability, availability, and maintainability reports for JC2 SPO supported equipment.
* LORA: Conduct Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) to determine the appropriate repair levels for JC2 SPO supported equipment.
* FMECA: Perform Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to identify potential failure modes and effects on JC2 SPO supported equipment.
* EMEIs: Develop and maintain Equipment Maintenance Effectiveness Indices (EMEIs) for JC2 SPO supported equipment.
* ILSIs: Create and maintain Integrated Logistics Support Items (ILSIs) for JC2 SPO supported equipment.
* Maintenance Documentation: Develop and maintain maintenance documentation as directed by JC2 SPO.
The successful candidate will also undertake an active role in process improvement activities to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Integrated Logistics System (ILS).
