Duties include:
* Diagnose and repair faults on refrigeration equipment including cool rooms, freezer rooms, ice machines, display fridges, bar facilities and all other general refrigeration work
* Repairs and maintenance on split, cassette, ducted, room, packaged and evaporative A/C units
* Experience in new installations both refrigeration and air-conditioning
What you'll be doing:
* Installing, testing and maintaining air conditioning / refrigeration systems
* Troubleshooting and resolving issues and faults
* Upgrading and modifying existing systems
* Residential and Commercial maintenance
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Here's what we need from you:
* Trade Qualified Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Mechanic
* Minimum 1-year qualified trade experience
* Hold a current C class driver's license.
* Current Construction Card
* Current Refrigeration Handling Licence
* Current QLD Restricted Electrical Licence
* Be able to work un-supervised, run your own jobs and train apprentices.
* Honest and trustworthy.
* Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
* Experience with both residential construction and maintenance work would help.
* Take pride in your work and go the extra mile to make sure the job is top notch.
* Great people skills both with fellow workmates and customers.
