Right now, we're looking for experienced meat processors with strong knife skills, to prepare our meat products, to help make top quality baked goods for our customers.
What you'll do
* Prepare, cut, dice and mince meats to recipe specs (no beef carcass breaking)
* Maintain sharp knives and safe knife-handling practices
* Follow quality control and meat-processing standards; complete basic records
* Work clean: food safety, hygiene and WHS compliance at all times
* Collaborate with the production team to meet schedules and minimise waste
* Handle manual tasks safely (lifting, staging, sanitising, end-of-shift clean-down)
About you
* Available Monday–Friday from 5:00 am
* Experience in meat preparation, cutting, dicing and mincing
* Strong knife-sharpening skills
* Solid understanding of QC and meat processing standards
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Physically capable to meet the demands of the job
* Safety-first mindset with WHS compliance
* Thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Cert II or III in Meat Processing (advantageous, not essential)
