Specialist Maintenance Reliability Engineer | Mt Arthur Coal | NSWEC
Your role as a Specialist Reliability will be to provide technical support to the Maintenance team by applying Reliability and Asset Management principles.
This role is based at our Mt Arthur site on a Monday to Friday basis (with flexibility). This is a residential opportunity where you will enjoy the exceptional lifestyle of the Hunter Valley region.
Key Accountabilities
* Drive defect elimination by monitoring and improving equipment performance in relation to cost, performance and reliability
* Complete targeted root cause analysis (RCA). Develop and implement subsequent improvement actions and monitor their effectiveness
* Develop and optimise maintenance strategies that enable plant safety, reliability and performance to be maximised
* Provide coaching to the maintenance execution team in regard to defect elimination and root cause analysis
About You
* Have a demonstrated high customer focus through previous roles and experience
* Be able to establish good working relationships with the maintenance, production, planning and engineering teams
* Demonstrated experience in applying reliability principles in processing plants or similar heavy‐industry environment
* A trade background or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics), Maintenance Management or extensive related experience will be advantageous
* Ability to influence, engage and communicate with stakeholders effectively across all levels of the business
* Demonstrated ability to lead and problem‐solve – make plans, take initiative to identify improvements and implement effectively
