Job Summary: To acquire and apply industry leading repair and overhaul practices on propeller systems to support customers. This will be achieved by conducting maintenance tasks while undergoing on and off the job training to attain a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical Workshop).
This role is part of a team that comprises 7-9 Technicians and a supervisor.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leverage technical instructions to provide assistance to customers within formal documentation.
* Develop knowledge of applicable product lines and aftermarket contractual obligations.
* Participate in "On the Job Training" to learn about technical publications and propeller repairs.
* Learn administrative functions such as writing technical reports, ordering materials, supporting quotations and capturing sales opportunities.
* Maintain strong environmental, health and safety requirements aligned to organizational standards.
* Utilize tools to track and resolve customer queries.
* Undertake training to complete competencies required for a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical Workshop).
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow through the workshop.
