Providing trauma informed, strengths based and client-centred support to Children and Young People and their families is at the core of this role.Shifts will be offered according to your preferences, skills and experience. Residential Youth Workers must have availability for sleepover shifts and weekend shifts.Entry level and Emerging Youth WorkersWe are currently recruiting forentry-levelyouth workers to support Children and Young People who are involved with the Department of Child Safety.As an Emerging youth Worker, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of Children and Young people to attend community based activities. You will also be responsible for supervising family contact shifts. You may also be required to prepare and submit entry level case notes, and participate in any other recording or administration of documentation.Adherence to vehicle safety laws is paramount in this role.An Emerging Youth Worker requires sound communication skills with a strong drive for helping others; in addition to emotional resilience, patience and tolerance.
