* Fast growth SaaS vendor, expanding across Australia as well as the UK and US
* $70-$85K base + super, uncapped comms - c$120k OTE in year one
* Huge opportunity to make an impact and be promoted rather than being just another number in a large outbound sales team

Our client is a well-established SaaS vendor that are looking to expand their sales team by hiring a business development representative to help further expand their sales pipeline through targeted and proactive outreach.

You will work extremely closely with their most senior sales person, building their sales funnel and learning a lot along the way. They have a clear plan for this person to progress into a closing role in 12 months time so the experience and exposure you will get every day will be invaluable.

The successful candidate will drive the outbound function by prospecting, building strong pipelines & booking qualified meetings. This is an exciting (and rare) opportunity as the company has solutions that 90% of their target industries don't currently have in place - the ROI is significant and the high close rates reflect the quality of the software and the excellent product market fit.

This would suit someone with 1-3 years of experience in an outbound lead generation role, in any industry who enjoys outbound but also wants to take on more responsibility and progress into a closing role within 12 months.

You will be tasked with:

* Sales prospecting, researching, qualifying leads and potential opportunities - targeting the transport, logistics and manufacturing sectors
* Working closely with the senior sales leader to uncover new opportunities and revenue streams via phone (cold-calling), video conference, email and LinkedIn outreach.
* Typically targeting business owners, Directors, CEOs, Operations, Logistics etc
* Reaching and exceeding weekly and quarterly outreach and qualified meetings targets (c6x per week)
* Proactively keep on-top of relevant industry trends and landscapes
* Mastering the ability to uncover pain points, attach a dollar value to them and book an exploratory sales meeting from the call

About you:

* You have previous lead generation/outbound sales experience - prospecting/cold calling etc
* You might be in recruitment or non SaaS sales and looking for a change of industry - great opportunity to move into software sales.
* You are driven, hungry, energetic and motivated to succeed
* You are confident, well-presented, with good EQ
* You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills
