About The Role
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse with experience in Day of Surgery admissions, Discharge and Surgical Ward to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 40 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster, some Saturday shifts available, will need to be able to work across all shift times. Christmas/ New Year and Public Holidays off.
Duties And Responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
* Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
* Ensure the complex and equipment are ready for surgery
* Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
* Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
* Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
* Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift
About You
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
* Solid experience in DOSA, Discharge and Surgical Ward essential
* Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similar
* Current AHPRA registration
* Experience in the below specialties desirable
* Ability to work across all shift times across the working fortnight
