The Opportunity: Patient Care Associate - Orthopaedic and Urology Unit
Schedule
* Day (7a-3p, 7a-7p), Evenings (3-11pm)
* 40 hours per week
* Rotating holiday and weekend requirement
About the Role
The Patient Care Associate will assist the RNs in Ellison 6 with various functions including phlebotomy and EKGs, transport patients, check rooms and equipment, assist patients with dressing and feeding, and some clerical functions.

Requirements
* Effective customer service orientation and ability to interact with diverse groups of patients, staff, and providers
* Demonstrated ability to solve basic patient and practice problems using strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and superior organizational skills
* Ability to lift and transport patients safely
* Preferred: Recent experience in clinical patient care
* Required: Licensed, certified, or enrolled student in a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or EMT accredited program, or candidate enrolled in a Nursing program, Pre-Med, or PA undergraduate program with at least one semester of patient care rotations completed
