About The Role
As a Surveyor at CADDS Group, you will be at the forefront of the industry, delivering high-quality spatial data solutions to our Tier 1 mining clients. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work across a range of specialist areas, including; Wear Analysis, 3D Laser Scanning, reality modelling, structural alignment surveys, and Topographical Surveys. This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on fieldwork and work-life balance.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Efficient field techniques using terrestrial 3D laser scanners and survey equipment
* Gathering and setting out field data with precision
* Accurate transfer, processing, and presentation of spatial data
* Post-processing of 3D datasets
* Equipment maintenance to ensure peak performance
* Adhering to industry-leading CADDS processes and procedures
About You
* A 3 or 4-year degree (or Advanced Diploma) in Surveying, Geospatial Science, or a related field
* Relevant industry experience (internships and placements count)
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and survey software
* A proactive, professional approach with strong communication skills
* A team-first attitude, great work ethic, and a drive to grow your career
* Full working rights in Australia (citizenship, permanent residency, or an appropriate visa)
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in client-facing roles
* Mining experience and willingness to travel
* Knowledge of Trimble survey equipment & software
* Experience with Leica scanning equipment & software
* Familiarity with Magnet (Topcon) software & MicroStation
* Understanding of Australian surveying regulations and industry standards
