About the Role
We're seeking a Level 1 clinician to join our Acute Services team in a temporary backfill role. The position offers valuable experience across a range of acute settings, rotating every three months through our Medical, Surgical and Rehabilitation units. In this role, you'll independently prioritise referrals, complete timely assessments, and provide recommendations that support safe and effective discharge planning.
Key duties include functional assessments, home visits, equipment prescription, cognitive screening, and completion of guardianship or NDIS applications when required. You'll also contribute actively to multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for patients transitioning back into the community.

To be eligible for employment, you must be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold a visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
