Specialist Surgeon Trainee
This 12-month placement provides a comprehensive training experience in general surgery services under the supervision of specialist surgeons at Royal Darwin Hospital.
* Patient admission, management and discharge are handled by General Surgery Fellows with consultant supervision.
* The department's rostering system requires participation in 24-hour shifts to ensure service functionality.
