An opportunity has arisen for an Equities Analyst to join our Melbourne team. We seek someone who is passionate about equities and investing, with strong analytical and financial modelling skills (Excel essential).
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting industry and company research, contributing to investment debate, stock selection, and portfolio insights, and supporting the development of quantitative tools and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data and market trends
* Develop and implement effective investment strategies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth
Requirements
* 3–10 years' experience in financial analysis (buy-side, sell-side, M&A or consulting)
* Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
* Demonstrated passion for equities and investing
* Tertiary background in finance; combined with STEM disciplines highly regarded
* Goal-oriented, curious, and driven to learn
* Able to work under pressure and commit to excellence in a high-stakes environment
Total compensation package may include base salary, discretionary bonus, and participation in fund performance and/or equity upside.
