Competition: Big V – State Championship Men
Location: Bellarine Peninsula (Greater Geelong, VIC)
Bellarine Storm is seeking an experienced, values-driven Head Coach to lead our State Championship Men’s program in the 2026 Big V season.
This is a pivotal leadership role, guiding our flagship men’s team on and off the court while strengthening the pathway from juniors to seniors across the Bellarine Peninsula.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the State Championship Men’s program, setting game model, training standards, and culture
- Plan and deliver a minimum of two training nights per week plus weekend games
- Recruit, develop, and retain athletes aligned to the Storm’s values
- Collaborate with junior and high-performance programs to strengthen the athlete pathway
- Represent Bellarine Storm professionally with athletes, families, sponsors, and the community
About You
- Demonstrated coaching or playing experience at senior men’s level (Big V, NBL1, or equivalent)
- Basketball Australia Level 2 (AssociationCoach) accreditation or higher (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong leadership, communication, and player development skills
- Commitment to Child Safe standards and inclusive team environments
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
