Kanda is seeking a highly organised and proactive Leasing Officer to join our team in Bundaberg or Brisbane on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will play a vital part in completing head lease and sub-lease tenancy requests across all states to support seamless service delivery in our NDIS Disability department. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you'll help ensure property and asset requirements are managed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with legislation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lease & Bond Management: Complete head lease and sub-lease tenancy requests for all states, including preparation of leases and management of bonds.
* Legislative Compliance: Ensure all leasing activities and bond management comply with relevant state tenancy laws and organisational policies.
* Stakeholder Communication: Work collaboratively with internal teams, financial decision-makers, and property stakeholders, including understanding the needs of people with disability.
* Asset Support: Assist with the purchasing, tracking, repair, and replacement of assets while maintaining accurate registers.
* Financial Coordination: Manage bonds and liaise with the finance team to support accurate processing.
* Documentation & Data Management: Maintain accurate records in line with organisational policies and ensure compliance with HSQS, NDIS, and other regulatory requirements.
About You
* Previous experience in property, leasing, facilities, or asset management.
* Proficient in Property Me for lease preparation and bond management.
* Competent with Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn other state rental requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Holds a current, valid, and unrestricted Driver's Licence.
* Holds, or is willing to obtain, a current state-based Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
