Support Worker - Catering
As a Support Worker - Catering Assistant, you will support the Chef / Chef Manager and peers in delivering a high quality catering service within the home.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring the catering service is adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
* Completing all appropriate food safety record forms as per legislation requirements.
* Ensuring that all duties are worked in accordance with the Food Safety Program at all times.
* Ensuring uniforms, appropriate protective clothing and footwear is worn whilst in the workplace.
* Following strategies in the Food Safety Plan to prevent cross contamination from occurring.
* Preparing daily meals including beverages for residents that meet the special dietary requirements as instructed by the Chef Manager or Chef/Cook.
About You
* Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate (Health Care Competencies).
* Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role in residential care, health care or hospitality sectors.
* Current valid Australian work rights.
* Knowledge and experience in safe food handling.
* A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission‐based organisation.
* Availability to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week.

Contract: Casual (immediate start)
Hours: Morning 7:00 – 14:00, Afternoon 14:00 – 19:30; shifts available across seven days.
