Position summary
As the Talent and Culture Coordinator, you will oversee the entire employment cycle to ensure a happy and productive workplace.
You will manage recruitment, onboarding, employment relations, training & development, and performance management under the direction of our Human Resources team located at Head Office.
You will need exceptional communication, organizational management, and leadership skills.
This role reports to: The General Manager
Key Responsibilities
Carry out all HR functions of the business.
Drive the recruitment process to ensure we hire the best people.
Manage the onboarding process and conduct company inductions.
Manage and action employment changes and liaise with the Accounts team.
Oversee all Workplace Health & Safety reporting and compliance across the business.
Develop training programs and personal development plans for all employees.
Assist with the performance management process for all departments.
Own and modernize the HR process and record keeping.
Carry out the employee quarterly reward and recognition program and staff incentives.
Keep up to date with Australian HR best practices and relevant legislation.
Monitor and update the current WH&S; plan and encourage a culture of WH&S; awareness.
Assist with general administration duties for the Resort.
Carry out any other tasks as directed by the HR Director or General Manager.
Skills and experience
At least 2 years experience in a Human Resources role.
A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Experience with Australian employment law, Immigration and Workplace Health & Safety.
Experience working in hospitality and with the HIGA Award would be advantageous.
Committed to delivering a high level of customer service.
Proficient in MS Office.
Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and focus on quality output.
Willingness to proactively problem solve where possible.
Experience with hospitality would be advantageous.
