Job Role
The Case Manager ensures community safety through effective management of adults subject to community orders. This role acts in accordance with assessed risk and need, maintaining high standards of assessment practices to facilitate supervision, reintegration, and rehabilitation of individuals under community-based orders.
Our team works closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organizations to address Indigenous over-representation within the criminal justice system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Negotiate and resolve conflicts with stakeholders at all levels to achieve commitments and service delivery goals.
* Work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Apply experience working within a legislative framework to deliver core services.
* Build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
* Develop effective communication skills for negotiating complex issues with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
* A valid Australian driver's license (C class minimum) for travel and work across various locations.
* Complete Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community) within 12 months of employment and certification within 18 months.
