Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contract Manager to join our team. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for managing commercial relationships with clients, implementing prime contract management programs, and developing and delivering commercial training.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all contracts are managed in accordance with Bechtel's internal practices and requirements, and that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process.
In this role, you will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating project risks, and delivering positive project outcomes. You will work closely with other functional departments, including Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls and Startup and Commissioning to identify and operationalise opportunities for improved project performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to select appropriate methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for solving issues and obtaining outstanding results
* Prioritising customer centricity - both internally and externally - is key to resolving commercial challenges while preserving strong relationships
