Overview
Baptcare Amberlea, a Baptcare Residential Aged Care facility in Drouin, Victoria, is actively welcoming new residents and is offering Casual opportunities for Food Services Assistants. We are looking for dependable candidates who can work flexible hours.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of meals across dining areas within a residence.
- Ability to work with other catering staff and assist with the preparation of basic food stuff if required or directed by a supervisor.
- Provide support for function planning and delivery.
- Ensure all catering facilities' food safety program schedule is adhered to.
- Assist customers with service delivery in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Ensuring all staff in the catering department maintain safe food handling practices and compliance.
About you
- A warm, compassionate, and reliable team member
- Ability to listen and understand our clients\' needs and requirements
- Availability at work over a 7-day roster.
- Relevant Industry Training – Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate
- Previous experience working in an aged care or industry Catering team
- Knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP compliance
