**About the role**
We currently require a **Junior IT Specialist**. The purpose of the role is demonstrating exemplary professional customer service and support. This includes providing support across all aspects of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to the Brisbane Head Office and occasional travel to Peabody's operations in NSW and QLD.
**Other responsibilities of the role include**:
- Implement the company's end user computing lifecycle management policy, including deploying computers and mobile phones
- At the direction of the Manager IT Services assist in the implementation of IT projects and solutions for Head office and site.
- Contribute to the IT knowledge base
- Maintain video conferencing hardware and software
- Travel to Peabody's Operations to provide IT support at sites for the purposes of holiday leave coverage
**About You**:
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Passion for Technology is a must
- Experience in IT Desktop Support environment ideal but not necessary
- Experience in a Microsoft Windows and Office environment ideal but not necessary
- Strong team player.
- Excellent communication skills; and,
- Passion for safety as a way of life.
- A driver's license to facilitate any travel to site

This position is offered as a full-time role, working from our Brisbane office. Peabody offers flexibility when needed, and 1/2 day Friday's.
