About the role As a member of a multidisciplinary team to stakeholders/customers of Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS), you will be expected to provide leadership (including education and research focus) and supervision for the multi-disciplinary team delivering respiratory medicine scientific services.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Deliver high level respiratory and sleep scientific clinical investigations services through telehealth and outreach models that improve care access for patients in Norfolk Island, regional and rural Queensland.
Provide general clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding service delivery.
Assist in the operational delivery, development and management of the daily activities of the RSIU to patients from Norfolk Island, Central and regional Queensland, including coordination of resources, to ensure delivery of service is aligned with the service objectives of the Thoracic Medicine Department and MNHHS.
Contribute to the maintenance of respiratory sleep laboratory accreditation.
