Our global mining client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong data focus to join their high-performing team. You'll be contributing to the development of a data-driven software solution that helps mining operations optimise load and haul productivity.
This is a senior-level role with a stronger emphasis on data-heavy, back-end development, offering the opportunity to contribute both technically and strategically in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
What You'll Be Working On:
* Developing and enhancing a new productivity-focused application within the broader platform
* Extracting and transforming operational data from Fleet Management Systems (e.g., truck movements, haul cycles)
* Work with relational databases like Postgres or MSSQL, including complex queries and large datasets.
* Designing backend logic and data workflows to support operational insights
* Building intuitive data visualisations and workflow tools that drive decision-making
* Collaborating closely with mining SMEs, product owners, UX designers, and engineers in an agile setting
Tech Stack:
* Languages: Python, TypeScript
* Databases: Custom SQL-based systems, data extraction pipelines
* Frontend: React or similar frameworks (desirable)
* Other: Data visualisation tools, internal analytics and data platforms
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in full stack development, with a strong back-end focus
* Expertise in SQL, Python, and TypeScript
* Demonstrated experience working with operational data-ideally within the mining or resources sector
* Strong data visualisation and analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* Perth-based with full Australian working rights
