Job Summary An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced General Practice Registered Nurse to join our clinical team under the direction of our senior nurse and clinical Director.
O'Halloran Medical Centre, a family-owned practice of 8 GPs + registrars and allied health, are seeking a very special Registered Nurse who has experience in a general practice setting. This is a casual position of approximately 15 hours per week, with a requirement to cover annual leave (with notice) and personal leave at short notice. This person will have the following experience:
child and adult immunisations (must be able to produce a completed certificate in Understanding Vaccines and the National Immunisation Program HESA accredited - SA Health). chronic disease management. wound management skills.
aural ear health (must be able to provide accredited certificate). experience using Best Practice or other similar general practice clinical programs.
digital eHealth. sterilising. emergency triage.
patient health reminders Responsibilities and Duties You will be responsible for ensuring all patient clinical data is kept up to date.
co-ordination and maintaining of Infection control protocols. assist in accreditation processes. you will show compassion and empathy towards our patients without judgement.
Qualifications and Skills Must have current Nursing registration through AHPRA and hold DCSI & national police clearance documentation. About you
You must have a \"Can Do\" attitude. Have a passion for assisting our patients with their chronic diseases.
Have a drive for self-education. You must have a great sense of humor, as we can be a weird bunch at times. You can work individually as well as in a team.
Be a proactive nurse who anticipates patient needs and takes initiative to provide assistance before the patient even arrives, rather than waiting for tasks to be assigned. Job Type: Casual Experience:
