About UsUnity Power Engineers is a dedicated Electrical Engineering design and consulting firm based in Hamilton NSW providing a range of engineering technical services to the heavy industrial, utilities, mining, and renewables sectors across Australia.Unity is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our expanding team and be a part of a small business offering high-quality Electrical Engineering solutions. The Role
* Full time Monday – Friday (40hrs/week) Key Responsibilities
* Oversee project execution from concept through to commissioning
* Design and review electrical infrastructure for transmission, distribution, and generation projects.
* Develop technical specifications, reports, and drawings using industry-standard tools
* Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
* Lead power system studies including load flow, fault analysis, protection coordination, and stability assessments.
* Liaise with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and project success.
* Experience in budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Electrical Engineering
* 10+ years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field
* Strong knowledge of standards (IEEE, IEC, AS/NZS), NER, and utility requirements.
* Strong knowledge in tools like AutoCAD and PTW
* Excellent communication and leadership skills. Desirable Skills
