We are seeking an experienced and values‐drivenFinance Managerto lead our finance function and support organisational sustainability. This newly created role, established through a strategic restructure, is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who wants to use their skills to make a real difference.
About the Role
Reporting to the Deputy CEO, theFinance Manageroversees all financial operations at Wangarang and leads a small team. This role ensures strong financial governance, timely reporting, compliance, and high‐quality financial advice to the CEO and Executive Team. You will play a key role in organisational sustainability—managing budgeting, forecasting, analysis, payroll, NDIS billing, and operational finance functions. You will also prepare Board‐level reporting and contribute to strategic decision‐making across the organisation.

About You
* Demonstrated experience leading finance operations in a medium‐sized organisation.
* Strong accounting expertise, including budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
* Experience with AP/AR, payroll, general ledger, and month‐end processes.
* High proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial information to non‐financial stakeholders.
* High levels of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
* Experience in NDIS, disability services, community services or similar funding environments.
* Understanding of NDIS Pricing Arrangements and compliance frameworks.
* Experience preparing reports for Boards or working within governance structures.
Mandatory Requirements
* CPA or CA qualification.
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
* Working With Children Check.
