About the Role
The main objective of a Project Coordinator is to ensure quality and timely project delivery which involves creating project schedules, repair methodology, compliance requirements and cost-effective budget control for clients.
Key activities (include but are not limited to the following):
* Consistent and accurate administration of allocated jobs, working collaboratively with our team of Supervisors.
* Organisation, scheduling and budgeting of allocated projects working with key stake holders, supervisors, contractors and suppliers
* Cost management and cost control of all contractor and supplier invoices
* Strong focus on client service level requirements and delivery time frames
* Liaising with all stakeholders ensuring efficient communication and regular updates
* Promoting a safe and WHS compliant workplace
Desired Skills and Qualifications
* Similar role experience in domestic and commercial construction projects, with emphasis on the Insurance Building industry
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
* Willingness to learn and be part of an agile and warm team environment.
* Strong administrative skills, with written and verbal communication being key.
* High attention to detail.
* Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards and State legislation
* Track record of establishing and maintaining long term client and trade relationships
