Law Enforcement Professional
The Police Officer is responsible for performing law enforcement duties of average difficulty on a general assignment basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct surveillance and gather intelligence to prevent and investigate crimes.
* Participate in crowd control and riot prevention efforts to maintain public safety.
* Collaborate with colleagues to conduct initial and supplementary investigations of crimes, collect and preserve evidence, and execute various writs and serve subpoenas.
* Apprehend suspects and transport individuals under arrest while ensuring their rights are respected.
* Document incidents and prepare detailed police reports to support judicial proceedings.
* Testify as a witness in court proceedings when required.
