Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement and oversee financial crime policies and frameworks to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Translate financial crime risk appetite into practical policies and procedures embedded across business planning, products, distribution and operations.
* Provide independent assurance to senior leadership that financial crime risks are appropriately identified, assessed and managed.
* Manage engagement with regulators and law enforcement bodies, including incident reporting and regulatory liaison as required.
* Monitor emerging and changing financial crime obligations, oversee enterprise risk management capability, and lead targeted reviews to address areas of heightened risk while fostering a strong compliance culture.
What you'll need to succeed:
* Minimum of 15 years of experience in a Financial Crime role within the Banking/Banking Regulator sector
* Deep expertise across AML/CTF, KYC, external fraud, anti-bribery and corruption, and sanctions obligations, with strong understanding of both domestic and international regulatory requirements.
* Broad compliance across multiple business units & risk domains
* Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships, influence decisions and maintain effective internal and external networks.
* Experience managing a team
