**Account Manager - Sydney, NSW**

**How can building relationships lead to building outcomes with impact?** Our Account Managers are empowered to take ownership for driving and maintaining relationships.

You will work with a team of National Account Managers who look after key business partners including large strategic brokers, direct Agents, direct fleets and Fleet Leasing customers for the following products; NSW CTP, QLD CTP and Fleet Leasing Motor. As an Account Manager you'll share responsibility for the state's performance working closely with partners to maximise their insurance revenue and achieve long term and sustainable growth ensure completing partner satisfaction.

**It will be your responsibility to**:

- Formulate, implement and manage strategic business plans of Partner accounts to achieve sales revenue / sales quota targets.
- Develop additional business from existing portfolio in line with budget targets while managing income and expense budgets.
- Act as the main interface when required between the Partner and the organisation, to ensure an optimal level of service is provided at all times and continually seek the opportunity to participate in Partners' strategic business planning processes.
- Ensure that effective account retention and defence strategies are in place to promote Partner retention.
- Implement and use appropriate sales methodologies, strategic selling practices and
- effective negotiation skills.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and account plans in line with compliance obligations

**Important to your success**:

- Proficient at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning, exchange knowledge and elicit beneficial outcome.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and technology with good skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Relevant financial services industry experience with experience managing client accounts (desired but not essential).
- Ability to document and understand market and Partner requirements to identify, pursue and close business development opportunities that contribute to the profitability of the organisation.
- Good knowledge of relevant lines of insurance and all associated legislation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
- Demonstrates strong presentation skills that are engaging and impactful.
