Overview
We\'re on the hunt for a passionate Sous Chef to join our team at one of the Peel Regions well respected venues. This is a fantastic chance to step into a busy, fast-paced kitchen where no two days are the same. You\'ll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver consistent, high-quality meals while leading the brigade with energy and professionalism.
What you\'ll be doing
- Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
- Lead and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes
- Manage ordering, stock control, and wastage
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
What we\'re looking for
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume venue
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- A passion for creating quality food under pressure
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and nights
