Fletcher Insulation is a leading Australian manufacturer and distributor of insulation products, with iconic brands such as Pink Batts and Sisalation. Our products are used extensively in the building industry on residential and commercial projects and are supplied through our specialist customer channels, which include insulation supply and install businesses, commercial contractors, national outlets and retail hardware stores.
We are also well recognised in the building industry for our technical capability, providing expert technical advice to architects, designers, builders and homeowners on the best insulation solutions for their projects. We continually invest in more sustainable manufacturing processes and look to ways of bringing innovative products and services to the Australian market.
About the Role
At Fletcher Insulation, we're on a journey of transformation—exploring new opportunities, strengthening our market presence, and driving sustainable growth across the industry. As National Head of Sales, you'll play a critical role in shaping and executing our commercial strategy. Reporting to the General Manager and part of the Senior Leadership Team, this role is ideal for a people-first leader who combines commercial acumen with a passion for empowering others. You'll guide a national team, build strong cross-functional relationships, and use data-driven insights to unlock new value for our customers and our business.
This is more than a sales leadership role—it's an opportunity to mentor, uplift, and inspire a high-performing team. You'll work closely with your State Sales Leaders and their teams helping them grow their capabilities and confidence as they deliver on ambitious goals. You'll bring people on the journey, lead with empathy, and foster a supportive environment where ideas are shared, wins are celebrated, and challenges are tackled together. Skills and capabilities for success
* Proven experience leading national sales teams within the building products or construction sector.
* Strong commercial and financial acumen with a track record of delivering profitable growth.
* Previous experience in managing P&L, forecasting and setting budgets and sales metrics
* A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
* Ability to lead change and inspire teams through data, insights, and clear communication.
* High-level presentation and stakeholder engagement skills, both internally and externally.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and digital tools to support scalable, customer-focused growth.
* Ability to develop and execute customer activation programs.
