I-MED Radiology are pleased to be recruiting for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Supervisor to join the team on a Full-Time Permanent basis.

As Nuclear Medicine Technologist Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in professional and operational leadership and management of the Nuclear Medicine Service across the Business Unit. Ensuring the delivery of high quality, efficient, professional, and friendly services to patients and referees, and a commercial focus that provides both improved clinical and financial outcomes. This will be a Monday-Friday position with hours ranging from 6.00am to 6.00pm in a busy private hospital setting with some on call and weekends required.
Key accountabilities include:
- Plan and manage daily technical staff workforce requirements across the BU through appropriate staff rostering, annual leave planning & sick and other leave as required in conjunction with the clinic Nuclear Medicine Chiefs
- Managing 2 busy SPECT CT's, some rotation through PET
- Manage, develop, and mentor technologist staff and provide clinical guidance in the clinic
- Ensure outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day management of the Nuclear Medicine Services
- Provide quality improvement initiatives, and review and refine work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes
- Perform routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards as required
- Establish and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Key selection criteria:
- Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent
- Current AHPRA registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
- Current Radiation Use Licence (State specific)
- Ability to manage, coach and lead clinic staff in a busy and dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel verbally and in writing
