What is the unique purpose of the role?
To provide high quality inventory and procurement services to SA Water operational customers based across a geographically dispersed area.

Customer service 
- Timely and accurate picking, packing and delivery (arranged or performed) of goods to business partners. 
- Conduct of accurate stocktaking of A and B stores, as requested, without negative impact to business partner operations. 
- Provision of assistance to business partners as required with respect to the procurement/stores processes and practices.
Procurement/finance 
- Conduct low value, low risk procurement activity up to the value of your assigned Procurement Delegation and in line with the Procurement and Contract Management Procedure. 
- Purchasing and salvage activities administered efficiently and correctly. 
- Audits and other internal governance checks conducted as required, correctly and accurately.
Inventory management 
- Stocktaking to be accurate and to capture all items held on stock and/or deficient. 
- All demands on the stores and all transactions, including but not limited to recommended stores orders, transfers, requisitions and orders are actioned and satisfied promptly and effectively. 
- Ensure accuracy of orders, invoices, requisitions and inventories. 
- Stock adjustments in ellipse is to be entered as soon as possible, be accurate and reflective of actual stock on hand.

Special conditions
Does the role have any unique requirements? 
- Flexible hours and some after hours as required, some intra and interstate travel (mandatory) 
- You will be required to undergo initial and subsequent medical clearances and immunisations as relevant to your position, to ensure your safety in performing the inherent requirements of your role, including but not limited to: Covid-19, Hepatitis A/B, Q Fever and Flu (mandatory) 
- Depending on the role you will be required to undergo initial and/or subsequent clearance checks to ensure your ongoing suitability for the role. These may include a criminal police check, traffic check, Working with Children and/or Working with Vulnerable People (mandatory)
