Overview
We are seeking a Treasury Dealer for our branch. The Treasury Dealer is responsible for supporting the daily operation of the Treasury function, with three principal activities being – Treasury Money Market and Foreign Exchange dealing and Business Unit Treasury Operations. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of Treasury activities.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the projecting daily cash positions, forecasting cash flows and executing short-term wholesale market liabilities.
* Understand transactional banking systems for various financial products and assist in escalating on payment/settlement issues.
* Oversee market risk management, including foreign currency positions and FX hedge book maintenance.
* Monitor interest rate, market conditions, liquidity trends and government regulations.
* Prepare inputs and contribute to ALCO reporting and provide administrative support as requested by the Treasury Manager.
* Drive relationships with banks, investors and regulators.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or higher.
* Basic knowledge of financial markets and instruments.
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
* A self-motivated and open-minded individual who enjoys building connections with others. Demonstrate a positive work ethic and contribute as an active team player.
* Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
