Position: Assistant Accountant Intern - Internship

They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an Assistant Accountant Intern, providing an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or current students to gain practical accounting experience.
DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Accountant Intern to join our clients team. This role offers a valuable chance to gain hands-on experience in the accounting field within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
* Prepare and analyse financial statements
* Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes
* Process and record financial transactions
* Assist with audit preparations
* Conduct research and analysis on financial data
* Contribute to various ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
