We are seeking a highly professional, dependable, and well-presented Medical Secretary / Administrative Assistant to join our boutique clinic. This is a part-time position suited to someone who is organised, discreet, compassionate, and confident working in a patient-focused healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong IT proficiency and the ability to manage digital systems efficiently. While prior medical secretary experience is not essential, applicants must have experience in a customer-facing role such as retail, hospitality, reception, or administration, and demonstrate the ability to interact professionally and sensitively with patients and stakeholders. This role requires a high level of reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently from home while maintaining consistent standards. The successful applicant will be well presented, polished in their communication, and committed to maintaining professionalism at all times, including in their public and online presence. A mature, trustworthy approach and a strong sense of accountability are essential. Responsibilities will include managing appointments, scheduling and cancellations, handling phone and email correspondence, liaising with patients, families, and referring professionals, and maintaining accurate administrative records. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic and supporting a high standard of patient care. This is a hybrid role requiring primarily remote work, with occasional in-person attendance as needed. The position is 20 hours per week at a rate of $50 per hour.
